Join Maryland Cool Kids for our Inaugural Vampire Ball on October 17, 2026, at the beautiful Fred Astaire Dance Studio Ballroom in Frederick, Maryland. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable night featuring live music by Crash The Limo, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, a silent auction, and a cash bar.

Whether you arrive in formal attire, gothic elegance, or your finest vampire-inspired fashion, you’ll be helping Maryland Cool Kids create meaningful social, recreational, and community opportunities for adults with special needs throughout Frederick County and beyond.

Many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities age out of school and suddenly lose most of their social opportunities. Maryland Cool Kids works to change that by providing a welcoming community filled with friendship, activities, and experiences that foster connection, confidence, and belonging.

Proceeds from the Vampire Ball will support our programs and help move us closer to our vision of creating the Cool Kids Club House—a dedicated space where our members can gather, learn, build life skills, and form lasting friendships.
