We have a Facebook Business Page where we post our press, achievements and business related information. Additionally we have a very active and supportive Facebook group called Frederick Self Directed Services. We are a community made up of new and experienced parents who understand the challenges and rewards of raising adults with developmental disabilities. They’re always happy to share advice, celebrate your wins, answer questions, and help others navigate the ins and outs of self-direction, or anything else you may be facing. You’re welcome to post anonymously if your feeling hesitant to participate.
Our Facebook group includes two dedicated employment posts to help you find staff for your Cool Kid participant, as well as a post with information to help you find an available Support Broker. Additionally our new Social Media Director Evy Brockman has been working on our Instagram presence. She has big plans for us, including highlighting Cool Kid achievements, capturing and sharing the fun at our regular activities and events and possibly some fun transition videos, as well as interviews with Cool Kids.
